Tax Assistance at Yates Community Library

Rural Opportunities, Inc. will be providing tax assistance here at the library.  A representative will be here from 4-8 PM on Mondays from February 25-April 14 to answer tax-related questions.  Call the library for more information.

Book House Now Open!

Yates Community Library’s “Book House” is now open!  The “Book House” is where you can pick up gently used books, magazines, and movies.  The “Book House” is open during library hours.

What’s Going On in February?

Here’s what’s up during February at Yates Community Library:

Valentine Memorials:  With a small donation, you can memorialize loved ones in the form of valentines that will be displayed in the library throughout February.  Call (585) 765-9041, or stop by the library for more information.

Feb. 9, 6:30-9 PM:  Family Film Night - Bring your pillows & blankets and watch fun family films!  Call the library for film showings.

Feb. 12, 11 AM-12 PM:  YCL’s “The Lunch Bunch” Book Club will be discussing MaryJanice Davidson’s “Valentine’s Day is Killing Me”.  Light refreshments will be served.  Call the library or stop by for details.

Feb. 23, 7-10 PM:  Teen Night - Enjoy games, “PlayStation 2″, movies on a “big screen”, music, and much more!  Call (585) 765-9041 for more information.
