Whoops there!

Howdy, folks - hope you’re enjoying our warm weather.  I’m enjoying it, all right - in the climate controlled library!

I received a telephone call this afternoon here at the library that deeply troubled me, and I’m writing about it because it may affect more than just the person who called me.

It has come to my attention that our calendar on the website here stated that Lyndonville’s Independence Day celebration - fireworks and all - was on Sunday, July 4 . . . . when it really was all on the 3rd.  Because of the inaccuracy on our calendar, at least one family has missed out on our wonderful celebration.

I’d like to personally apologize to everyone who was affected by our calendar mix-up, and I wish that they would still want to come back to Lyndonville next year for the celebration.

July 4, 2011 falls on a Monday . . . . probably going to be the best Monday of the year.

Once again, my sincere apologies to all affected.

Yours,

Ryan @ Yates Community Library
