Genealogy ResearchResearching your ancestry takes time and patience. While we are not staffed to find the information for you, we can certainly help by guiding you to the sources that may help. In-Library resourcesIf you are looking for family information from the Lyndonville locality, start searching in our local history collection. Available on microfilm is the Lyndonville Enterprise dating from 1906-1962. As a reminder, Reference materials do not circulate and remain in the library for use, but they can be photocopied. Shampine, Deputy County Clerk The Orleans County New York Records Directory is available through the Orleans County Surrogate’s Office. You may find marriage, divorce, criminal, death, birth records and more. Wills are public documents that can be searched and copied. They often have listed family members’ names and where they lived.
